hello family~ I felt very inspired for my most recent nail set. I wanted to get something with NewJeans since I love them so much.   I wanted it to be their member animals for sure, like what they had for ComplexCon in Hong Kong since I thought those were sooo cute~. For the background I decided something resembling their Get Up album would look really good :-3。。。 so cute 🤤  The base was easy to do, but the animals was another story. They were done in the same way that the 3D hearts normally are. The base color was painted down first using jelly polishes, then built up using a builder gel. To give a similar effect as the fuzzy icons, acrylic powder was poured over the top before the final cure.  Most exciting nails I've had yet family! Real and true ☝️! I'd been thinking about this set since last month, seriously. While getting my birthday set, I showed Lilly what I was wanting for October and she kept yelling, "AAAAAHHHH!!! I can't wait for the little ghosts!!!" hehehe 😸.  This set, all the prep was super easy since I didn't have any problems from my birthday set.. did I even share those....hehehe :-3. But the base colors for this was a hard gel color gradation. Jamie had shown me the Light Elegance color selection since I wasn't happy with the purple polish I brought, and oh my fucking god. that purple was so beautiful and excellent. obsessed doesn't even begin to cover it. I didn't realize it was hard gels, but there wasn't a polish I liked more, so hard gel it was, just for that purple (⁠◡⁠ ⁠ω⁠ ⁠◡⁠)!!!  I think this was the most normal either one of us have behaved during one of my appointments..  he-llo~ beautiful family. I went 5 whole weeks without my nails getting done. I normally go about 4/4.5, but given my length anything longer than that is unwise.   For this months set, I knew what I wanted but the image wasn't totally concrete. I knew I wanted large charms and my same basic gems tho, so it was easy to build after talking to Lilly.   My basic inspo was one of the pictures Anji Ishio has shared of her nails on her blog, and the MA*RS set I was planning to wear for HDLA.  I think it turned out perfect :-3. It's not my usual style I'd say.. but for being a light pink/white based set, I think it still matches me really well.   One of the hairdressers I see most times I get my nails done had come by while we were finishing up and she was over the moon seeing my nails. She said they looked like the PINK side of Victoria's Secret and she loves them so much 😸..! I love seeing her, she's always so positive 😸🩷. I'm really happy with this...

 Had my nail appointment yesterday. 3D snake nails cus it's year of the snake. I wanted it to look like an advanced version of the nails I had for new years, so like, a water garden and the snake moving through it. 

 hi family (⁠◡⁠ ⁠ω⁠ ⁠◡⁠).. y'all not ready for my nails :-3  Lilly was able to get me in on Wednesday to have my nails redone for my trip. bless 🙏!  I knew what style and what look I wanted, but I wasn't sure the price, nor how many charms she actually had. It all worked out in the end tho 🙏..  We were there for like 4 hours this time. 2 for rebuilding the base (standard at this point) and 2 for design. I wanted something like what I was doing all through nail school. beach themed :-3...  We weren't able to get any pictures at the appointment cus her next client had shown up, so I had my dad take pictures for me yesterday.  He may be evil, but god damn it, he takes a picture exactly how I'm envisioning it.  hi family, I bent my left index nail sooooo bad it bruised the whole way across like 2 days ago while I was washing my hair. yeeeeeooooooowwwcch 😿💔💔💔. so I didn't wash my hair for 2 days.... oily .. but I told Lilly the night I'd done that, and she was able to get me in on Friday to have my nails fixed and redone 🙂‍↕️🫶.  I have like 50$ rn so my mom paid for my nails. Last night she was like, "you're getting something simple this time, right...? like an ombre or something ..?", which I thought was funny cus that isn't necessarily simple to do depending on whether you're using polish (simple), or encapsulated acrylic (simple but time consuming) or gel (not simple), but she's so used to the extreme bullshit I always get that that is simple in comparison LOLOL!!   I was originally just gonna get a sparkly printer ink yellow like my shirt today since that's one of my most favoritest colors, and I don't think I've done yellow on my nails...

 hii family, my original nail appointment was supposed to be on Tuesday, but we had to reschedule it to Friday instead. I had my new years set on for 5 whole weeks. omg... it felt like I'd had them on forever, but even still, I feel like that wasn't enough time lol! I'd stare at my nails literally every single day cus I thought they were so cute (⁠ᵔ⁠ᴥ⁠ᵔ⁠)..   For this set, I wanted something well suited to February. Lilly doesn't like to copy other people's work too, so she won't ever do it exactly like the picture.  hi family :-3, my nail appointment with Lilly was today 😸. I was there for like 7 hours again.... I'm not even noticing it's been that long while I'm there LOL!! It's not even taking that long cus of the work that's being done either (well, it partly is..) but like, we're discussing everything the whole time cus I have a license, and she lives to teach, it's awesome.   I showed her my dress for new years cus I wanted my nails to look like part of the dress, and I actually had all the same colors that are in the dress :D. So I wanted it to be like, 'color blocked' but in a more watercolor kind of way, and I also wanted some of the old school Japanese nail art elements and I think that's what made it all look more cutesy as opposed to just elegant.  hi family :-3, I haven't written in a while, but I hadn't really been doing anything interesting.. but this past weekend Jacey and Sarina came to visit from California 😸..!!   I was very anxious since I haven't had anyone over to my house even to hang out since moving here.. Frankly, I feel I did a poor job hosting, but Sarina said it was fine and that she also hasn't had many people over, so she feels the same when she's in that situation too (⁠٥⁠↼⁠_⁠↼⁠)🙏。。。  We planned to wear 'matching' sets, or like, coordinating. So even though we were all wearing different prints, we still fit together :-3. I wore my strawberry print set, Jacey wore her chihuahua print set, and Sarina wore her diamond bow print set. I don't actually know what the hell that print is called, or even what it actually is, but I have a set with that print too, I like that one 😸.  I spent a lot of time leading up to this trying to come up with good accessories/accent pieces to wear.....
