Vegas Meet 11/23 ๐ธ๐ (pic HEAVY!!)
hi family :-3, I haven't written in a while, but I hadn't really been doing anything interesting.. but this past weekend Jacey and Sarina came to visit from California ๐ธ..!!
I was very anxious since I haven't had anyone over to my house even to hang out since moving here.. Frankly, I feel I did a poor job hosting, but Sarina said it was fine and that she also hasn't had many people over, so she feels the same when she's in that situation too (ูฅ↼_↼)๐。。。
We planned to wear 'matching' sets, or like, coordinating. So even though we were all wearing different prints, we still fit together :-3. I wore my strawberry print set, Jacey wore her chihuahua print set, and Sarina wore her diamond bow print set. I don't actually know what the hell that print is called, or even what it actually is, but I have a set with that print too, I like that one ๐ธ.
I spent a lot of time leading up to this trying to come up with good accessories/accent pieces to wear.. I bought new tights that looked pastel pink in the listing picture, and then when they showed up they ended up being the exact same shade of purple/pink that's on my MA*RS set :D!!! I also found the Betsy Johnson necklace on Mercari; it matches the earrings my mom got me to wear with this set last Christmas :D! And I knew I wanted to wear my tall boots since they'd be easiest to walk and drive in for the entire day, but I thought just the tights and boots would look kinda plain, so I wore a pair of thigh-highs with black bows at the top, over top my tights, so the boots would look more girly. At the end of the day when I took my shoes off Jacey even said, omg I thought the bow was part of the boot, lol!!
I also did my nails on Friday night :-3. I just used regular polish since I can't be assed to file off gel. eugh! But I wanted something wintery and that would match my jewelry. I used 3 polishes total.
We went to quite a few different places throughout the day, but I only really took pictures on my digital camera and most of them are at the Bellagio ๐ญ๐ญ!!
We got curry for lunch first. When I got home I remembered I hadn't taken any pictures of the meals, I totally forgot ๐ญ๐ญ!!!!
Then we went to the swap meet. I haven't had to drive there myself before, I always go with my mom. It was pretty straightforward tho. I didn't get anything there since I'd gone a couple weekends ago and got lots of lashes :-3.. Sarina and Jacey got matching headbands that were really cute :-3.
Then we went to Shanghai Plaza to use the photobooth ๐ธ..!! It turned out good I think, even tho we all had to cram together lolol. We did a group one and then singles. When we did the singles, whoever was waiting had to hold the curtain since it was so windy lol.
We went to Kumaco upstairs next. Jacey got a really cute muffler with My Melody on it :-3. Then we took lots of pictures just outside the store and on the bigger part of the balcony. Sarina got a digi camera since the last time I saw her, and I think hers is better about the automatic flash going off. Still, I got lots of good pictures and Sarina shared all of hers :-3!!
Then we went down to the strip. The F1 races were this weekend (learned this on Friday night.... my bad) and all of Las Vegas Boulevard is closed down and getting anywhere down there was a total pain in the ass, plus! my main 2 exits were closed!!
We had to park at the Park MGM, I think this one was the Monte Carlo, sucks they changed the name, way uglier now.. but parking at the MGM casinos is really easy compared to any of the other branches. But to get in from the parking garage you have to walk across this outside bridge that basically acts as a massive wind tunnel ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ .
But in the lobby there, they had a cute Christmas tree up, so Sarina and I took a bunch of pictures there and Jacey took 3 really good pictures of us together in front of the tree :D ๐❄️๐๐!!
Then we took the tram all the way to the Bellagio; talked to a lady from Canada on the tram there, said she was on vacation, enjoy your vacation lady ๐ช!!! Once you get off, you have to walk the whole way through to the center where the conservatory is. This time, their little display on the way there had nutcrackers, so I took more pictures of those 2 in front of it ๐บ.
Once we actually got to the conservatory, we took like, a grillion pictures lol! I'll try to post them in order ๐.. But the really awesome thing is, this time most everybody stayed clear while we were taking individual pictures of each other; thank you Bellagio guests ๐... you've helped me immensely with that one simple act ๐❤️..
We also got a few really good group pictures both in front of the big tree (the main display) and on the lobby side of the arch! Those ones turned out awesome ๐ธ❤️!!!! Big thanks to those 2 ladies, they killed it fr.
Then we walked all the way through and out around Caesars. At the end of the casino, where the exit to the fountains out front are and the bridge to Caesars is, they had a bunch of security guards n shit cus of the race. And on the bridge, there was this guy telling everyone to move along, can't even loiter for 5 seconds smfh ๐... like literally, you couldn't stand around for 5 seconds, I'm not joking LOL!!
There isn't a whole lot to do just walking on this side, and it wasn't really possible to cross the street in any straightforward way to where the more 'touristy' casinos and general chump fuckery usually reside so I felt kinda bad :/. I did get some really good pictures of the 2 of them around Caesars tho ๐↕️..
Then we had to walk all the way back... my feet... but then we went to go get dinner :-3!!!! yayayayay!!!
We went to Xiao Long Dumplings in Chinatown Plaza. It wasn't a pain in the ass to pull in coming left either! Probably cus it was later and not 11-4 lol.
We got 2 orders of soup dumplings and 1 of the chocolate dumplings for dessert :-3. But they brought out chocolate banana ones :0.. they were still good tho, plus I got to have 2 ๐❤️!
I'm not very good with chopsticks, but neither is Sarina; she got the soup in like, 3/4 dumplings all over her dish lol! Normally I get the soup everywhere too lol, so that's easily the least I've biffed it eating dumplings there ✌️๐.
I was so upset I forgot to take pictures of the meal there ๐ญ!!! I told Sarina, so she did an artistic rendition of the meal from my point of view for you all.
When we got back we decorated our photobooth pics :-3. I only did our group one since I was undecided what I wanted to do for my single one, but both of them did both of theirs. Sarina drew Dimple on both of hers so I had her draw him on mine too lol!! And Jacey's solo one looks like, totally professional, like all of it was done on the actual booth. Shit looked dope!!!!

omg, when they arrived on Friday, they were both hysterical, and they pulled these out
I fucking love it!!!! I don't know where I should put them yet... perhaps on my limited wall space next to my closet, but I'm also debating finding a way to display them on my Minji and MP100 shelf. idk yet teeeheeheee ๐บ❤️....!!!
