バレンタイン ネイル 🩷

 hii family, my original nail appointment was supposed to be on Tuesday, but we had to reschedule it to Friday instead. I had my new years set on for 5 whole weeks. omg... it felt like I'd had them on forever, but even still, I feel like that wasn't enough time lol! I'd stare at my nails literally every single day cus I thought they were so cute (⁠ᵔ⁠ᴥ⁠ᵔ⁠).. 

 For this set, I wanted something well suited to February. I couldn't find the picture I'd originally had in mind, so I had to kind of improvise (-⁠ᄒ⁠ᴥ⁠ᄒ⁠-).. and I had to send more pics to get the same idea as a result. Lilly doesn't like to copy other people's work too, so she won't ever do it exactly like the picture. I think that's good tho, cus then even if the elements and ideas are the same, it's still unique to me.

 I tried something really different this time (-⁠ᄒ⁠ᴥ⁠ᄒ⁠-)!

 I know the neapolitan color-way and correlating super girly stuff is super popular and trendy, and I like it, but I don't really think it's 'me'. So I feel like I don't necessarily match the design right now lol. 

 For the design itself, I really really wanted to have the 3D hearts again cus I LOVED!!!! them on the last set. I like the stuff that's built with the gel cus it doesn't catch on things, but it's still big. She also did the chocolate with the gel too, so it's raised up; it's SO cool :D!! I loves it :-3.

 We also started building my nails 🙏. The last 2 sets I've had have been gel-x, so right now for the length I have tips and it's built on top of that. I finally have round curved nails again, bless for real 🙏 my hands look like mine again 😭!! Lilly likes the almond shape most (like most people) and I had told her round is my favorite, and she was like "eehhhhhh I don't know..." but once she had finished the shape and building it she was like, "oh it looks really good, this is the shape". Like, girl I know lol. 

 My mom said I need to start paying for my nails, so it was a painful purchase, but y'all know I get my money's worth 🙏. We were there for like 9 hours... like,.. it doesn't take that long to actually do any of this stuff, but we're talking the entire time. She even said it herself yesterday, that doing my nails is like doing it for a friend so she's not thinking about it like how she does for her other clients. It's fun, but I also feel bad for keeping her so long lol. 

 She told me to start planning for my next set lol!! She asked cus it's easier to build the 3d things beforehand. I think a tokki theme would be very cutieful (⁠◡⁠ ⁠ω⁠ ⁠◡⁠)。。。
