Niece2Niece 🐬

hello family. Hearts2Hearts has a nyew album out, and I've become quite fond of them so I wanted to get it. I forget how many releases they have, but I could swear I'm missing one.... Anyways, their nyew-est album is 'Lemon Tang' and I just remembered I have an account on twitter that I could be sharing this on instead. I haven't logged into it on this phone tho. I should do that.

Yeon is my favorite :-3
she looks like a little hamster 😸💕💕 & I had to get the super cute dolphin charm (obviously~)

Anyways, I really liked 3 of the 6 tracks with my favorites being, 'heart emoji (♡)', 'RUDE!', and '처음 투성이 Baby Steps'. I didn't really care for the title track, 'Lemon Tang', but I've listened to it a few times since it released, and I like it more than I did on my first listen. I thought track 5, 'Secret Recipe', was pretty awful overall, but whoever does the "rap" in the middle of the song I think has a really nice vocal tone. Other than that tho, I get that the members are young, but the tone of that song I thought was very elementary and repetitive, and I didn't think it matched the vibe of their other releases. Cus they have other songs that reflect their age and work nicely, but I thought that one sounded overly immature.

I think 'heart emoji (♡)' sounded the most like a proper continuation of their previous releases. I know lots of people don't care for artists to release the same kind of thing over and over, but I think given how new their career is and how few songs they have out, I think it's okay to have a few songs that all kind of flow together like how I feel this one and 'STYLE' do..〜 idk, I'm very fond of this song.

I also really really liked '처음 투성이 Baby Steps' on my first listen, and still today. I don't know.. it sounds like a lot of music that was popular on youtube when I was first online like on the family desktop back in 2012, so I think I like it for that reason. It sounds very nostalgic to me.

Overall I would give this album a 6.5/10 because the songs I liked I really liked, but the songs I didn't like I really didn't like. A near 50/50 split on this one. I liked their 1st EP a bit more, but I am a fan of niece2niece so I will be following along~

 ok バイバイ
