day out 1/11
hello family~ Leo and I have learned now to try and get out earlier in the afternoon so that everything isn't closed either before we eat or by the time we're done eating. So we went out at 3:30 today and it worked much better.
We went to the Chinatown Mall first since I need to plan my outfit for new years. It's year of the horse so I have certain colors in mind. I got 2 dresses, one for this year and one for next year. Next year is year of the goat (meeee (◡ ω ◡)...), I feel like that should be a green dress, but that isn't what I got. I'll share next year's dress, but not this year's; that's a surprise :-3!
I buy most of my everyday jewelry at the shop upstairs, and I got quite a few nyew things.. lemme share :-3.
Once we were done upstairs we looked through some of the shops downstairs. We went to the store with all the overpriced sanrio stuff and Leo got a Kakashi pen and I got a notebook :-3. It's soo cutieful.
Once we were done shopping we decided on curry for dinner. I'm happy to have turned him into a curry enjoyer 😋🙏. Inshallah all my friends are turning into me. But before getting curry, we had to go get Chinese root beer. I hype it so much to literally everyone I know, no joke, so Leo wasn't expecting it to be as good as I made it out to be. but guess what family.. I know what I'm on about. that shit is exactly as good as I claim. thas wassup 😼🙏.
But~ before we actually got our root beer, there's a store next to the supermarket that I keep forgetting to ever go into cus I keep thinking it's a CVS, but I finally remembered, so we went in. family.. for one, it was crazy, but two, the makeup section was huuuuge! I was finally able to get more CanMake 😸🙏!! The Japanese makeup store down the street stopped carrying CanMake 😿, I was so upset, but I was finally able to get more here 😸!!! And they're selection was bigger 😸!!!
They didn't only have makeup though, they had lots of home goods stuff too. I wanted to look at the snacks section since I like buying limited flavor pocky. I also like trying fun candies :-3. They had Chinese Skittles too.
But I was more than fortunate today 😇❤️.. I saw my most favorite candy from middle school ❤️❤️❤️!!!!! I haven't had this is 11 years 😭!! My best friend Lea would bring them to school in 6th grade and we'd share them in class. I never knew what they were though since the wrapper doesn't have any English, and this definitely wasn't sold anywhere in Michigan. I was so happy to see these again after so long 😭❤️!!! I'm so happy 😇❤️
After our shopping detour we finally went and had dinner. While we weren't initially planning on going drinking tonight, I did really wanna go drinking 😭. At least Leo did too LOLOL! We decided to hit up Chili's to see if they had anything good.
We got one drink while we were there, Tito's Punch I think.. It was pretty good :-3. It tasted kinda like how my sunscreen smells, but that's not terrible. It was pretty strong too.
Chili's only really had margaritas, I'm not a huge fan, so we made our way back to Outback to try the other drink from the other night. We both agreed it wasn't good 💔.
We went home after that nasty drink at Outback, but we got plans to hang again soon 😸. See you next time family バイバイ ( ◜ω◝ )♡
