Maid Café —♡
My look for the day was inspired by Kyarin. I like her a lot and I like her looks, she's super stylish. I think she's.. effortlessly cool. so I wanted to emulate that.
I'd shown up around 2 and had to wait in line outside for like 15 minutes 💔💔 it was so cold. I went in when I was next in line and then I waited inside for another 20 (◡ ω ◡)。。。At least I got to be indoors lol, it was so cold.
They had a special menu for the pop-up, and there was an omakase set, where you got all 3 souvenirs along with an appetizer, main dish, & special drink :-3. yaaaayy :-3!
I got the grenadine calpico with soju to drink. yummy :-3.. It's not wise for me to drink soju (I already knew this..), I don't know what the alcohol content is... but I always end up drinking too much too fast and getting dizzy (◡ ω ◡)...
The appetizer came with smaller portions of both the options they were offering. I got 1 croquette and 2 takoyaki. I liked the croquette cus it was like a massive hash brown 🤤🤤.. and I already knew I didn't like octopus, but I decided to eat one anyway. no me gusta.
For the main course I got the bunny curry :-3. yaaaayyy :-3! I don't even know what the other option was, u know I love curry.
It was sooooo~ cutieful, and it was a beef curry! It was really really good!! I would definitely go back just to get their curry again. The beef wasn't fatty at all, and there were some potatoes and carrots in the curry. yummy~ 🤤🤤❤️
The souvenirs included a Polaroid with 1 or 2 maids of my choosing (or any), a little fan, and a 'lightstick'. They had a little sheet to fill out when I came in asking about the maid picture selection lol. I chose the 2 girls that had colorful skirts and bows cus I thought that'd be more cutieful (◡ ω ◡)..!
I think the picture's so cute :-3. The one girl, Kana, decorated it and brought it to my table 😸. how cute ❤️!
The lighting in the restaurant was super terrible (overhead lighting 🍅🍅🍅), so I waited till I was outside to take any pics :-3.
Then I went across the street and used the photobooth, #youknewthat.
I should've brought my photo album with me today, but I left it at home.. I brought my camera instead #wrongdecision, oh well!
Today was their first pop-up like this, and the guy at the front was telling me they thought this event would be a bust, but they'd been swamped all day! so maybe they'll do an event like this again in the future :-3. If they do, I'll have to stop by again :-3 curry~ 🤤

DeleteI've noticed that Hollister has been selling a lot of clothes that suit gal recently, mostly light pink and white which I don't prefer, but I couldn't pass on this sweatshirt! 2000s designs are coming back bit by bit!
Yes, I love Hollister!! I am more into late 90’s, but I actually got two coats and a sweater there this year that really remind me of 90’s gal. I always check there for clothes since I feel like their designs are usually more interesting than other stores in my mall
